For Immediate Release:
With an estimated 35% of all US workplace
injuries being ergonomic in nature, ergonomics may be the number one workplace
health issue in North America. And with office ergonomic safety involving a
large percentage of workers, a sound ergonomic safety program is long overdue
for many employees.
Given the magnitude of this major health issue and in response to evolving workplace safety regulations in the US, Canada and around the world, North America's first fully interactive ergonomics program, Painless Gains, has been developed.
Painless Gains is an innovative
multi-media computer-based training program. It provides risk identification,
information on symptoms and causes of ergonomic injuries and a range of
material on safety and prevention issues. The program is the first of its kind,
offering a fully interactive work station model, a posture monitor feature and
proactive work station exercises with ongoing on-site support from the
ErgoGnome, the programmable timer/reminder user support/interface
feature.
Painless Gains producer and
marketing director, Robert S. Burns says, "The number one health and safety
hazard for office workers and computer users today is exposure to ergonomic
injury. The overwhelming response we are having to this product is being driven
by; increasing ergonomic injuries and safety issues in the computer based work
environment, new and pending regulatory guidelines across North America
regarding ergonomic safety in the workplace, and the popularity of the
ErgoGnome, the engaging feature that introduces various
preventative workstation exercises on demand."
As the modern workplace continues to evolve to
accommodate an information based economy, surely we will need and want to use
computer-based workstations more than ever. Fortunately, we can rest assured
that our regulators are committed to protecting our interests and our
health-and knowing that the ErgoGnome, is here to help us make
Painless Gains!
